Munchie
Ella has formed an overnight attatchment to a teddy bear that a friend of ours gave her when she was born. She has never really payed much attention to this particular bear until last night. After I put her in her jammies last night, I handed her the bear to distract her from her dirty diaper that she was fascinated with for some reason. I didn't think she would want anything to do with this bear (dirty diapers are much more fun to play with than a clean teddy bear) however, I was wrong. When I handed her the bear she got a huge grin on her face and took the bear by the ear and started laughing and waving it around. Poor bear didn't even see it coming. We went into the bathroom where daddy was helping brother to brush his teeth for bedtime. She held the bear out with a grin on her face for her daddy and brother to see, again holding it by it's ear. Im not sure how long the bear's ear will last if she keeps this up. When I put her in bed she was still holding the bear. Thirty minutes later when I went back in to her room to get her because she refused to sleep, she was still holding the bear. The bear had to come out of the bed with her to the rocking chair while I tried to get her to calm down and go to sleep. When I went in to get her this morning, she stood up in her crib with a grin on her face and showed me her bear. She even had to take the bear in the car while we took big brother to preschool, and when I went to get her out of the car after dropping Jax off, she started making a noise that I didn't know a one year old little girl could make. Im pretty sure the neighbors heard this noise coming out of my darling little princess. The reason for this noise was because her bear, which her big brother has now named "munchie" had fallen on the floor of the car. As soon as I handed "munchie" back to her, the noise stopped. Thank goodness. I was surprised that she was able to let go of munchies ear long enough to eat breakfast. Munchie came with us to pick brother up from preschool, and munchie took a nap with Ella too. I have a feeling that her new little friend is going to be a permanent fixture in Ella's hand for a while.
